Saturday Teams Join the Essex Olympian Football League
In a major development, our Saturday teams, along with all other teams in the Southend Borough Combination League, have made the leap to the Essex Olympian Football League. This move represents a step up in competition, providing our players with the opportunity to test themselves against some of the best amateur football teams in Essex.
Saturday Firsts: Our first team will be competing in the Essex Olympian Division Four South East. With a blend of seasoned players and promising new talent, the Firsts are ready to make their mark and push for a strong finish in their debut season.
Saturday Reserves and A Team: Both our Reserves and A Team will be battling it out in Essex Olympian Division Five. The Reserves, fresh off a solid pre-season, are determined to carry that momentum into the league, while the A-Team is looking to build on last season’s experiences and show they can compete at this level.
Sunday Teams Continue in Their Respective Leagues
While our Saturday teams explore new horizons, our Sunday teams remain committed to their established competitions, where they have enjoyed much success in recent years.
Sunday Team: The Sunday side remains in the Sceptre Sunday Football League, now competing in the Premier Division. After a fantastic season last year, the team is full of confidence and ready to challenge for top honors in this competitive division.
Sunday Vets: Our Vets team continues in the Southend Borough Combination Veterans League, now set to play in Division Four. With a blend of experience and guile, the Vets are looking forward to another season of competitive football, camaraderie, and hopefully, a successful campaign.
