After a three-week hiatus from competitive football, the Southend Collegians Sunday side returned to action with an emphatic 8-1 victory against Thames Rovers (S) First at the Goals Centre in Southend.


With a comprehensive tactical team talk pre-match, Collegians were well-prepared for the challenge posed by the league leaders. The match kicked off on the 3G surface at Play Football, providing an ideal setting for our style of play. The team exhibited crisp passing, confidence, and an attacking flair that kept Thames Rovers on the back foot.


As halftime approached, Southend Collegians found themselves in a commanding position, well ahead on the scoreline. The players' commitment and execution of the game plan were evident as they headed to the break with a substantial lead.
