Our Sunday got off to a perfect start to the season with a 3-0 victory over Eversley Athletic earlier today.
The match was close for the first quarter, with both teams battling for possession and territory. Collegians took their chance around the 30-minute mark, before adding a second shortly after.
The team had to endure Eversley coming at them at the start of the second half, before hitting them with a fantastic counter-attacking goal. At 3-0 up, Collegians saw out the rest of the game.
After the match, Sunday team manager Dan Phillips said:
“my lads had a very good game today. All 16 players played their part in a well battled, cagey game.”
Dan was most pleased with the team effort today, adding “we did well keeping as a unit, which played a massive part in the victory".
